wayne has been part of Nunatsiavut Marine’s leadership group for nearly 15 years. Hired in 2012 to organize a system for freight tracking and government reporting, his role evolved a year later into the operations side of NMI.

He later became Operations Manager. As part of the management group, he oversaw the freight and passenger side of the operation, including reservations.

In 2025, Dwayne assumed the leadership of NMI, becoming Manager of Marine Operations. In that role, he oversees all marine operations for NGC, liaises with the contractor, and reports to the LICST on behalf of NMI.
